Last December 6, 2009, the Family of the Rogate – composed of members of the different “Rogationist Co-Laborers”: the Union of Prayer for Vocations (UPV), Pamilya-Rog (PamRog), Rogate Youth (RY), the St. Hannibal Christian Communities (SHaCC) and Movement for Vocation Enrichment – Rogationist (MOVE-R) – held its Annual Gathering, at the Seat of the Philippine Delegation in 24 Calcutta Street, Merville Park – Parañaque City, with the theme: “Charitas Christi Iunget Nos” (The Love of Christ Unites Us).

This yearly event wants:

1. To enhance unity and sense of belonging to one Family of the Rogate
2. To celebrate together the richness of the Rogationist charism and spirituality
3. To know the present situations and expectations of the different organizations of “Rogationist Co-Laborers” (UPV, PamRog, RY, MOVE-R & SHaCC)
4. To share experiences, projects and programs to better promote the prayer for vocations.

This year the event turned out to be a national gathering as participants came from as far as Davao (Mindanao), Tuguegarao (Cagayan Valley), Ilocos Region, Albay, Sorsogon, Bataan, Pangasinan, Cavite and the NCR.

The celebration started with a conference on the theme given by Fr. John Joffer Lucas, RCJ. This was followed by the sharing of experiences as participants were divided into small groups. The highlight of the event was the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the Major Superior, Rev. Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, RCJ, wherein all participating members of the different Rogationist Lay Organizations renewed their commitment to the Rogate. Consequently, everybody enjoyed the abundant lunch. Meanwhile, a short program followed wherein the Officers of the different organizations were formally inducted. The celebration ended the giving of Christmas gifts to all participants.
