In this Year for Priests, six brothers in the Rogationists Philippine Delegation got ordained. His Most Excellency Bishop Jesse Mercado, DD, Bishop of Parañaque ordained Bros. Tirso Traya Alcover (Cebu), Noel Suleste Balquin (Parañaque), Ricardo Vasquez Caperiña (Quezon), Jeffrey Sara Jagurin (Albay), Herbert Cabral Magbuo (Quezon), and Rey Oclarit Villamonte (Cotabato) to the Order of Deaconate in Fr Di Francia Center of Studies Chapel at ten o’clock in the morning. Together with this, Bros. Giulio Belarmino, and Ranny Rodriguez were installed as acolytes. Meanwhile, Bros. Mark Robin Destura, Ronie Gumagay, Rogie Quinga, Lovely Ramirez, and Charleston Tumulak were installed as lectors. After the celebration of the Holy Mass lunch was served in the seminary gymnasium. Many confreres from various communities, families, benefactors and friends of the newly ordained deacons and installed ministers have graced the said occasion. Her Excellency Ambassador Leonida Vera, Ambassador of Military Order of Malta to the Philippines had also graced the said celebration.
