December 19, 2009 – with the theme: “Hesus, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko,” the Rogationist Seminary – Cebu celebrated the 2009 Christmas Sharing. Almost 800 students of catechesis coming from the different sitios around the seminary attended the said event.

The program started at 1:00pm with animation songs and games lead by the seminarians. After the short program the children started to line up to enjoy the Rogationist Children’s Bazaar where each of them received a bag with grocery items. They were also given tickets for the bazaar. With their tickets, they were able to avail of goods from a wide array of items like clothes, toys, canned goods, slippers, bags, balloons and many more.

Prior to the sharing, the seminarians had more than a week-long carolling to gather funds for the sharing. San Miguel – BMEG and CENAPRO Company together with UNILIVER also sent items and to be given to the children. Volunteers also shared their time assisting the KIDS.

It was a day full of fun, excitement and gift-giving... but above all, it was a day we honoured the birth of Christ: the star of this great season we call Christmas.
