As the Holy Father proclaimed 2009 – 2010 as the Year for Priests, in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the “dies natalis” of John Mary Vianney, the patron saint of priests worldwide, and as the Philippine held the Second National Congress of Clergy, the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus is blessed with the Priestly Ordination of Rev. Fr. Wesley Jay Mallillin Taguibao, the first Rogationist priest from Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Fr Wesley was ordained through the prayers and imposition of the hands of Archbishop Diosdado Talamayan,  DD, PhD, STD, MAEd, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao last February 6 in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Tuguegarao City. This remarkable event was graced with the presence of various Rogationist communities, different religious congregation, members of the Union of Prayer for Vocations, family, relatives, benefactors, and friends of the newly ordained priest.
