After the Resurrection of Jesus the Church was entrusted with the mission of forming the “new man” through the Word of God and the Sacraments. The man made anew in Jesus Christ by the Spirit is the man with a new relationship with God, with others and with himself.

The “new man” is always the fruit of a radical conversion, strongly guided by the Spirit. He is always joyful, serene and deep, open and available to two things: God’s Word and the needs of his brothers and sisters.  The “new man” is sincere and loyal, capable of accepting any sacrifice and willing to offer any service, committed to be a point of unity and reconciliation.  It is this new man that we are called to form in us while we contemplate the mystery of the Resurrection of Jesus.

As Rogationists we are invited to work for the formation of this new man particularly in the young generations entrusted to our care and accompaniment, the Seminarians, the boys of our Villages, the young persons of the Schools and Colleges run by us, the youth of our Parishes and missions as well as in all the persons we meet in our daily apostolate.

Let us ask the Risen Lord to be “new men” so that we can give a contribution for the formation of a “new man” in others.
