While we are almost at the end of the year of Priests, let’s turn our eyes to Mary, from whom we can learn how to pray God, our Father, through Jesus in the Holy Spirit.

To be Priests today demands long hours of prayer and contemplation. Only the contemplation of the face of God changes history and our personal lives. The mission of every Rogationist, in line with our charismatic identity, is to be profoundly contemplative in action. This is a gift from God. Let’s ask for it with humility from the Holy Spirit and from Mary.  She will give us the interior tranquility and peace we need for the important moments of our prayer life as consecrated and Priests, particularly the Eucharist and the Liturgy of Hours. Mary will help us to recognize the Lord in the events of our lives and to discern  what is the God’s will. She will give us a poor and humble heart that we may be profoundly true Rogationists, “contemplative  and masters of prayer”.  May we be able to re-discover the contemplative dimension of the prayer of the Rosary and like Mary “to ponder in our hearts all what the Lord has done in our lives”.

Mary, mother of the Priests and Consecrated Persons, pray for us!
