I do believe that one of the most important aspects which we should consider in our consecrated and priestly life is ‘time’. The problem with most of us is that we do not have time any more. We have no time to think, to reflect, to meditate , to pray and time for others. So we are loosing that essential attitude of availability which Confreres, seminarians, boys and people would like to find in us. To spare time for others is part of our ministry which requires also to encourage, to accompany and to listen to others. The celebration of July 1st is a reminder for us Rogationists that the center of our lives and Religious Family is Jesus in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. From Him we learn to be available: He is always there in the tabernacle available to meet us, to encourage and to listen to us. He has always time for us. So let us look at Him and imitate Him in His availability to us. Our lives will be surely transformed by our availability to offer our time to God and to others.
