March 4, 2025 (Philippine Time) - Pope Francis appoints our confrere Fr. Herman Abcede, RCJ, as the new bishop of the Diocese of Daet.

Fr. Herman is currently serving as the Superior of the religious community of the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Parañaque City. He has also served as the Provincial Superior of the St. Matthew Province for two consecutive terms.

Let us pray to the Lord of the Harvest to accompany him in his ministry of shepherding the flock and serving the Church through his new office.
