Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, RCJ, the General Superior of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus, had a meaningful meeting with His Excellency David Bonnar, DD, Bishop of Youngstown, at the Chancery Building of the Diocese of Youngstown, 144 West Wood St., Youngstown, Ohio, USA, on April 7, 2025, at around 1:30pm.  The Good Bishop offered the possibility for the Rogationists to participate in the life and ministry of the Diocese by starting the presence of a Religious community in the Diocese within the year 2025. On the other hand, the Rogationists expressed their appreciation for the openness and generosity of the Diocese to welcome them. Both recognize the Hand of God, who makes the partnership a reality.  

Present in the meeting were Msgr. John Zuraw, Fr. Keven Peters, Fr. John Sheridan, Fr. John-Michael Lavelle, Mr. Pat Kelly, Mrs. Joan Lawson, Fr. Brizio Giovanni Greco, RCJ, Fr. Orville R. Cajigal, RCJ, and Fr. Noel Reyes.

Before the meeting, Bishop Bonnar presided over the Holy Mass with Fr. Rampazzo, Fr. Greco, Rev. Fr. Cajigal, and Fr. Reyes in the chapel of the Bishop’s Residence in Youngstown, Ohio. Lunch was then shared with some of the diocese's employees to start the encounter between the diocese and the Rogationists.
