CANONICAL VISIT TO THE MISSIONARY STATIONS OF SOUTH KOREA

Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun, RCJ, the Provincial Secretary, accompanied Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, the Provincial Superior, to document the Canonical Visit to Seoul, South Korea, and to check on the archives of the Missionary Station here, from the 22nd until the 26th of August, 2023 (including the days of travel). This affair was characterized by very fluid moments of common and personal dialogues, and of prayers. Fr. Cajigal saw to it to visit as well the confreres assigned in the Missionary Station in Gwangju, also in South Korea – which at this moment is under a Visitator, appointed by the General Superior. They also had the chance to visit the convent of the Daughters of Divine Zeal in Seoul and to pay the Archbishop of Gwangju and their Parish Priest there a courtesy visit each. They also took time to visit the Migrant Support Centers of Gwangju and Suncheon, where the confreres are having their apostolate.

Thanks to the warm welcome and generous accommodation of the confreres in South Korea. May the Lord always bless and guide this missionary work and everyone under its care!
