The religious community of the Father Di Francia Center of Studies (FDFCS) gathered on September 8, 2024, for a solemn celebration of the Installation to the Ministry of Lector and Acolyte. During the solemn vespers for the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time, six religious brothers were installed to the said ministries. The celebration was presided over by Fr. Ronaldo Paulino, RCJ, the Rector of the FDFCS.
Held in the Holy Spirit Chapel, the celebration marked an important step for the members of the religious community, as they witnessed their confreres embrace these new roles in service to the Church.
Fr. Paulino, in his reflection, emphasized the importance of these ministries in fostering a deeper spiritual commitment and in serving the community with humility and devotion; in proclaiming the Word and serving around the Altar of the Lord. He invites them to renew their sense of listening and discernment so that they may truly love and serve the Lord.
The entire FDFCS community participated in the event, witnessing the installation with prayers and support for the newly instituted lectors and acolytes.
They have been helped in their preparation through the support and guidance of Rev. John Dela Cruz, RCJ, as their mentor and Fr. Danny Montaña, RCJ, as their recollection master.
Congratulations to the new Lectors:
Bro. Carl Joseph Martinez, RCJ
Bro. Cyril Catedral, RCJ
Bro. Laurence John Paragados, RCJ
Bro. Robert Caraan, RCJ
