August 24, Parañaque City – Fr. Bruno Rampazzo, RCJ, Superior General of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus, had his encounter with the Lay Collaborators of the Rogationists in the Philippines at the Father Di Francia Center of Studies today. The activity is part of his Canonical Visit to the Philippines. Members of the Daughters of Divine Zeal, Rogationist Alumni, Union of Prayers for Vocations, Pamilya Rogate, and the Rogate Youth within Luzon, parish representatives, and St. Hannibal Empowerment Center attended the event.
The activity started with the participants' registration and simple refreshments prepared by the FDFCS community. The activity officially began at 3 in the afternoon. During the conference, Fr. Bruno thanked the lay collaborators for their participation in spreading the Rogate. He reminded everyone that Jesus commanded his disciples of the Rogate out of compassion. As sons and daughters of Father Hannibal, our commitment in all the sectors in which we are present should be an expression of this compassion.
Fr. Orville Cajigal RCJ, Provincial Superior of St. Matthew Province, also encouraged everyone to look at the Rogate as the binding force that calls us all into one Rogate Family. The celebration of the Holy Eucharist with Fr. Bruno presiding highlighted the moment of familial gathering. Present also in the activity are Fr. Orville and his councilors, Fr. John Joffer Lucas RCJ, Fr. Jessie Martirizar RCJ and Fr. Ronaldo Paulino RCJ, and the FDZ sisters led by Sr. Gladys Manuel, FDZ.
They enjoyed the dinner together as they ended the night.
