Cebu City – On the afternoon of November 5, 2024, the candidates for the Holy Orders (Priesthood and Diaconate) met with Cebu Auxiliary Bishop and newly-elected Ordinary for the Diocese of Prosperidad, Ruben Labajo, DD at the Sto. Rosario Parish, where he also serves as the team moderator of the team of pastors.

The lively encounter mainly consisted of conversations on the candidates' vocational journeys. Bishop Ruben also shared his personal experiences and realizations as the conversations went along the way. He wanted to get to know the candidates before the ordination, thus the primary goal of the brotherly encounter.

Bishop Ruben is set to ordain them this coming Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Parish and Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Lourdes in F. Llamas Street, Punta Princesa, Cebu City.

Let us continue to pray for these chosen men as they take on the responsibility of ministerial service. Let us commend to the Lord of the Harvest the new mission of Bishop Ruben.
