This afternoon, September 2, 2024, Fr. Bruno Rampazzo officially concluded his canonical visit to the St. Matthew Province. In the evening, the Fr. Hannibal Formation Center community, where he stayed during his canonical itinerary, hosted a simple Thanksgiving and farewell dinner. Several religious from the nearby religious communities also came to join the celebration and wish Fr. Bruno a safe journey.
A simple program was held; Fr. Joel Ricafranca, Fr. Arthur James Paciente, and Fr. John Lucas gave their messages thanking Fr. General for his visit, a canonical gesture filled with familial spirit and synodal undertones. The aspirants and postulants also presented their numbers during the program.
The event ended with Fr. Bruno offering his heartfelt gratitude to his Circumscription, the St. Matthew Province, for the pleasant welcome and experience. Though his itinerary schedule was changed due to unforeseen happenings, he was thankful for the support, care, understanding, and patience. He invited each one to constantly maintain the familial spirit that keeps the brotherhood lively in the Province despite the necessary and challenging differences. After the final blessing, a song of praise to honor the Blessed Mother closed the simple gathering.
Fr. Bruno will fly back to Rome by tomorrow. Let us pray for his safe travel. Grazie e Buon Viaggio, Padre Bruno!
