December 12 – [Silang, Cavite] On the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus are blessed to have the First Profession of Religious Vows of 3 of our novices, Jacobo Solis Barba, RCJ, Paul Tran Lam Phat, RCJ, and Cesar Eduardo Jaramillo Vega, RCJ.
The new religious made their vows at the St. Matthew Chapel of the Oasis of Prayer at Silang, Cavite, in the hands of Rev. Fr. John Joffer Lucas, RCJ, the Provincial Vicar of the St. Matthew Province, who also presided over the Eucharist. The newly professed religious were reminded that the religious promises they undertook were all signs that God is enough and everything. God’s will and our dependence and response to it are crucial in religious life. Quoting the Servant of God, Fr. Joseph Aveni, Fr. John reminds: “Doing the will of God is the best because he is our loving Father.
As we anticipate the Jubilee Year 2025, “Pilgrims of Hope,” we continue to pray for more holy vocations in the Church together with the faithful perseverance of our Religious so that they too may serve as witnesses of God’s hope for the Lord’s plentiful harvest.
Congratulations Brothers!
Send O Lord, Holy Apostles into Your Church!
