Passi City, Iloilo - This morning, November 16, 2024, Fr. Lorie Abebenir, RCJ celebrated his Thanksgiving Mass at his hometown parish St. Joseph Church at Brgy. Sal-ngan, Passi City, Iloilo. Joining with him were some of our confreres and diocesan clergy of Jaro. Fr. Francis Paul Escaño, RCJ served as the homilist reminding both the newly ordained and the faithful of the beauty and demands of priestly life.

Together with the family and relatives of Fr. Lorie, some local government officials and the faithful of the parish flocked to celebrate the gift of vocation. Special thanks to Fr. Dominic Tañedo (Parish Priest) and the Parish Pastoral Council for the support and preparations of the celebration.

Let us continue to pray for Fr. Lorie that he may exercise his priestly ministry, accompanied by St. Joseph, with zeal and sincerity.
