SEMINARIANS IN THE SENATE!
Last July 31, the Seminarians of the Rogationist Seminary – Manila showcased their musical prowess in the Senate of the Philippines. They sang the Philippine National Anthem, Lupang Hinirang, along with two other heartfelt songs, “Ako ay Pilipino” and “Magsimula Ka,” expressing their deep affection for their motherland. This was a significant moment for them as they had the opportunity to express their talents while creatively contributing to the works of the civil government. These experiences were crucial for their overall development, not only spiritually but also artistically and intellectually.
The seminarians were deeply grateful for the warm reception they received from the Senators and other Legislators. Despite the potential intimidation that comes with performing in such a prestigious setting, they summoned their courage and imbued each note with heartfelt passion. Their voices resounded with sincerity, a testament to their love for their country and their unwavering commitment to bringing glory to God.
We want to express our deepest thanks to Mr. Warlito Yalong for his incredible help in improving the musical talents of our seminarians. We are also immensely grateful to Tita Sony Jalandoni for her unwavering help and support.
Our prayers for our Senators and Legislators, asking the Lord of the Harvest to bless them with good health and wisdom. We hope that they can serve the country even better and pass laws that bring positive changes for the people they represent. May their laws make a lasting impact, igniting patriotism and inspiring future generations.
